Was talking with another cacher who had a great idea, the WGA should adopt a mascot! Maybe “Wilbur the Woodtick”, “Mona the Mosquito”?
or both lol
Actually sounds like a great idea!
I like the idea. The guy who thought of it is brilliant!
Too bad the badger is already taken, but there should be some animal that suggests “Wisconsin”. A positive mental image would be much better than the ones elicited by mosquitos and ticks. 🙂
Too bad GS uses Signal the frog, cause we’re inundated with them down here. I’ve been pulling a minimum of 5 a day out of the pool for about two weeks. Might be the same 5 stupid frogs, but I see them everywhere I go now. They are tiny little things too. Usually about 1.5″.

I thought Scrappy was our mascot…
Yea a fat guy doing geocaching what a nice mascot lol. Not much of a role model there lol. And yes i am picking on myself and no one else just myself.
We should have one though maybe a deer holding a GPS.

Shirley the Squirrel
Monty the Mallard

Skittish the Skeeter! Not negative…just a fact of Wisconsin caching!
(he could be wearing snow boots, ya know, with a GPS stuck to his beak!)
Gary the Garmin
Mary the Magellan
Phil the 35mm PHilm can
Roger the fake Rock
Aloysius the Ammo Can
Larry the Lock-n-Lock

Better throw a hodag in there.

And yet nobody thought of this one…
