04/02/2013 at 1:47 pm #1968697Yesterday the Spring WGA newsletter was sent out to members. If you didn’t receive it, try looking in your SPAM folder. The newsletter is also available for your viewing pleasure on the WGA website.
http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=WGA_NewsletterMy sincerest apologies go out to Code Junkie. I’m afraid I always mess up something and the link to his article was my faux pas this time. His excellent article on puzzle solves can be found here: http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=WGA_Newsletter&pa=showpage&pid=3
Any time you’d like to start submitting your articles for the next newsletter due to come out in approximately 3 months please send me a PM. I’d love to hear what our members have to say. Thank you!

05/01/2013 at 12:59 am #1968698It’s time to start thinking about the next newsletter. I hope that you enjoyed the member content in the last one. I’m hopeful that more of our creative and knowledgeable members will be willing to share some more stories with us.
I think I’ll give everyone a week after the campout so article submission deadline is May 26th.
One of us from the BOD will provide a brief write up of the campout, of course. But I would love to see an article from one of our members on their own personal experiences. I also would love to have a section that was spring 2013 photos. What else would you like to see? Please feel free to respond to this thread or PM me. Thanks!

07/30/2013 at 3:59 pm #1968700I’m looking for someone who would be willing to write up a personal account of their West Bend Cache Bash experience for the next newsletter. Any takers?
Also, if there is anyone else that has some ideas for article submissions from our members I would love to hear them!

07/30/2013 at 4:44 pm #1968701Sounds like there will be a couple caches with personality this yr. Goldie’s 1 hit Wonders and the 4.5T cliff and Dr. Doolittle’s Submarine cache in the pond at Sandy Knoll.
Good place for pics amd stories

10/29/2013 at 12:25 am #1968703With all of the holiday craziness I’m hoping to put the WGA newsletter out a few weeks early this quarter. That means it’s time to start thinking about what you’d like to contribute to this quarter’s newsletter. Here are a few ideas but you can write about anything you’d like.
*A day of caching
*Interesting things you’ve discovered while geocaching
*Product review
*Challenge caches
*An event write-up
*Combining geocaching with another hobby (photography, birding, cross-country skiing)
*How-to’s
*ComedyPlease contact me if you are interested or have any questions. I’d like to collect the articles by 11/16. Thank you for your participation!

10/29/2013 at 1:55 am #1968704I think it would be kinda fun for the BODs to pick out 5 Avatars from our members and have the membership vote for their favorite of the 5 selections.
No BOD avatar nominations! Winner gets “something”!10/29/2013 at 2:13 am #1968705That could be fun!

11/04/2013 at 6:41 pm #1968706Is that an announcement?
