I’m working on a cache that involves certain info on the annual campouts & picnics. 😈
I’ve noticed that the numbering of the events are out of synch. What happened in 2010 & 2011?
Here’s the issue: the 2010 picnic appears to be the 10th annual, and the 2011 picnic appears to be the 11th annual picnic, but the 2012 picnic states that it is the 10th annual.
Similarly, the 2010 campout is listed as the 9th annual campout, the 2011 campout is simply listed as the “2011 WGA Campout,” and then the 2012 campout mentions it is the 10th annual. The 2013 & 2014 don’t even mention where they fit in in the sequence, only listing 2013 & 2014, respectively.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Here’s the data

04/08/2014 at 1:44 am #1975697I think that the campout in 2012 was the 10th anniversary of the WGA, not the 10th campout.

04/08/2014 at 12:12 pm #1975699I believe that the 2002 campout was actually pre-WGA. 2012 was the “return to where it started” campout.

04/08/2014 at 5:50 pm #1975701The 2002 Campout was the first WGA event, followed by the 2002 Picnic event.
Second Annual would be First Anniversary.
So 2012 would be 10th anniversary. (11th Annual)07/31/2014 at 10:08 am #1975702Update to John’s list:
2014 Lapham Peak is the WGA Geo Picnic.Following the signals from space.
