GC2QW2A – 2011 WGA Spring Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup CITO
Please consider joining us on April 16th and helping the WGA give back to Wisconsin. Our section of “adopted” highway is near Brillion in NE Wisconsin. We have a spring and fall cleanup event on an annual basis and we need the most help in the spring.
Event page: GC2QW2A
Also nearby to the event is GC2GTP6 – the WGA CITO Challenge cache which you can find while cleaning up the highway. And another quick stop while cleaning is – GC2GV8E
Brillion is just a short drive from the Appleton area so there’s plenty of geocaching nearby if you’d like to make a day of it!
With enough people the cleanup shouldn’t take more than a couple hours. It’s a rewarding experience to be part of this event.
See everyone there. 😀 😀
Tried to log online to post a will attend, but for some reason cannot
If there is anyone from the Nort Woods that wants to head down let me know
Drove down our stretch of Highway yesterday (before the storms) and there’s little to no snow left, lots of standing water as expected, and a fair amount of trash. Our section looks “cleaner” than others though 😉
Looks like it’s gonna be chilly so dress warm! And let’s hope the forecasted snow for Friday is rain.
