Here’s another bump… just a heads up: I got a little excited about the Festival being on the “13th” when I was double checking the date and time…Until I realized… I IS on Saturday JUNE 12th, not Saturday June 13th… (may want to edit the description 🙂 ) 😯
06/08/2010 at 6:07 pm #1927842Fixed the date in the description. Thanks for the heads-up!
Also, for volunteers, I just posted information on the event page with details about where to park, etc.
Here’s a link to the event page: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0985a7f6-9c57-4b61-bb94-7fca03670e7906/11/2010 at 3:36 pm #1927843It was just pointed out to me that the date of the event is listed incorrectly on the WGA Events page. It is actually June 12 — Saturday — tomorrow, not Sunday. I sent a note to Jeremy and zuma to see if this can be corrected.

06/12/2010 at 3:19 pm #1927845I just talked to Ken and he says the WGA booth is in need of a table today. If anyone is coming down, or can just drop one off, please message kbraband to let him know!!!! Thank you!!!
06/13/2010 at 3:56 am #1927846Had a great time at the booth meeting other cachers and helping educate new people interested in the addiction :). I think that sponsoring booths at festivals/festivities is a wonderful way to help educate people as to what geocaching is and how to be a responsible cacher and to enjoy the sport/addiction and what it has to offer. Thanks Ken for your time and bringing everything out to be set up to help educate the community as to what geocaching is and can do for the community. Thanks Mike for bringing out the table (I hope the wife didn’t notice it was missing!! 😉 ). And thanks to the DNR for loaning out the gps units we used to show people how to hunt a cache. I look forward to volunteering at future events and meeting more cachers!!
