It is an Octoberfest beer. It is a bit light for a traditional Octoberfest and it is missing the sweetness. It is a kind of a pale, bready beer. It is good, but not what I expected from this brewery’s Octoberfest.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

A very well-balanced red dry wine from Spain that my good friend from Italy introduced to me. He swears that Spain makes the best wine. It is a well-deserved treat as I have officially cleared off my calendar of things to do before our Halloween Event in two weeks! Well, unless that other thing comes up . . .

10/21/2016 at 11:14 pm #2052007The El Cota is very good. If you like Spanish wine you should try Juan Gil. I personally like the Juan Gil 100 anniversary. It is a Monastrell Blend. I was able to meet one of the family a few months ago, good people.
