What did it look like when you created your team name?

There are 514113 active caches worldwide.
In the last 7 days, there have been 283867 new logs written by 42168 account holders.

I had fogotten how much the site has changed.

Went way back to the first good page archived and checked out an old cache in IL. GZ is now a retention pond for a shopping center!

I also took a look at the one in MN. The area is still rugged, so it might still be there. Back then they did not use GC numbers!!

The closest I could get to our first found cache date of 6/24/06 was July 1. Here’s what it says:

Thanks for the link. Just to see if I could browse around, I tried to log in, but I guess it is time sensitive because it didn’t recognize my current geocaching.com name and password. It knows I didn’t exist yet!

When we started, the home page had a rotating photo gallery at the top. I miss that. It was fun to click on the pictures and see more about caches all over the place and one of mine taken on the Chippewa River Trail even made the cut for a time. I didn’t realize it was my own photo until I clicked on it, thinking to myself, “We saw something like that once, too.”

I also remember that banner. I would spend quite a bit of time watching it to see if I knew the picture. LOL.
