Zuma,
I want to make sure I am taking the context of your response to my original post in this thread correctly. You indicate you dont want to deal with those who are posting just to argue, and happy to discuss with those who want to discuss. Which side of this do you put me on? Arguing or discussing.
Thanks

Personally, I do not have the time or interest in responding to every post by that type of person.
Zuma,
If you have a problem with a certain person (Me), you could have easily quieted me down if the year timeframe was posted earlier.
Sorry that I might seem that I like to argue, but usually I’m just stating facts and waiting for answers. (sometimes not so patiently)
and just stating a fact here usually the one who toots there horn the loudest about all the work they done is the one who did the least

DeanDean, we are old friends, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt. If you want to discuss things, than I am always open to that, either in the forums or in private.
I think that part of transparency is being honest with folks and answering questions the best we can, and I do try to do that as best as I can.
But I hope that you understand as a friend that every minute that I spend arguing with people who cannot be reasoned with no matter what you say, is a minute that I take away from doing the things I love to do, like holding my baby, kissing my wife, or geocaching. So, as a general policy I try not to get drawn into debates with people who just want to argue for the fun of arguing. I sincerely hope that helps you understand my position.
your friend

Thank you for clarifying, I have to tell you the original response was not as nice as the one I posted 5 hours later, I to wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt.
However I think when you post a statement about what the board did you should expect that there will be some who disagree. I do not see what I questioned as being argumentative but rather an attempt to get communication going on a topic I did not agree with. Silencing those who disagree is a form of censorship, which I dont think you support.
Also I think you took one of my items out of context, I did not suggest that the board intercede in every misrepresented comment in forums. I did suggest it in issues that are highly charged.
OK you say I should have known, I accept that as my fault, but I honestly can tell you I never knew of the one year plan until you posted it, well after the fact. So at the time the new logo was rolled out I did what I thought was a good idea and asked a board member as to when it would go into effect and the response was soon (which I take to mean in a few weeks maybe a month), once the topic came back up in forums nothing was said about the 1 year plan. In fact some of the board members added to the topic by telling us who were trying to get answers to shut up. They could have chosen to put water on a fire, instead they put gasoline.
I dont know if we can agree on this one other than to agree to disagree.
Thanks Zuma for taking the time to respond, I know we all have better thing to do.
May I remind you every candidate in the last two elections has indicated the importance of communication, all I am attempting is to keep an open line of communication going. The WGA is not perfect, but if you are not willing to listen to those who have left disatisfied the WGA will not be able to correct areas that people see as short comingsI leave you with one last thought, and no need to respond to this, I was asked by somebody yesterday, “If they aggravate you so much why are you still posting?’

Yep, Dean, I am always willing to listen. Thank you for your patience.
The other thing to mention is that my time availability waxes and wanes, so that impacts how much I can answer folk’s questions. For example, last week I took a 6 day caching trip to Texas, and while I quickly read the forums about every other day, I was not really in position to provide any detailed answer. I know that you are not referencing last week, but that is an example of how my, and I am sure everyone else’s, time available for response varies.
