I have several hobbies. Number 1, the reason I own a GPS, is motorcycling (so I can find my way back home).

Otheriwse I do many things, play raquetball, play on my arcade games and teach others about arcades (http://www.arcadecontrols.com), fly R/C aircraft, tinker with cars, build stuff.

I recall collecting a lot of music and video tapes; 8-track and Beta. Drank a lot of beer and caught some fish. I have a bunch of photographic gear collecting dust; a couple of Argus C3’s, A graphlex, a Twin lens reflex. I did the train thing. Did the electronics thing too; built a TV, an oscilloscope, a VTVM, a couple of Stereo sets and repaired TV’s for a while. Solid state electronics put the kabash on that. Did I mention hunting Bench Marks from NGS maps? It is all a bit foggy in my mind, but it’s comming back to me.

And it was my job to try to break half of the stuff he built (grins) but I would try to blame my sisters.

So the really bad thing is that if I’m not out caching, I’m sitting here at the computer reading about caching, logging caches, posting on forum sites, looking for caches. AAAHHHH!!!! Oh well, who cares, the whole family caches anyhow. I try to plan outings on days when the kids are off and about. My husband works out of town, and when he’s home he goes w/ me. My sister and her husband are the ones who got me into this mess so they aren’t an issue. What the heck was the question? Oh yeah, before Geo there was working at the bar but who wants to work anyhow? If I need more gas money, or a new GPSR I’ll go back to work. Gotta love what I do…there’s always someone looking for a bartender! (Anyone out there need a good bartender? LOL)

Besides the “average person” type stuff, I guess the most notable “hobby” I had, was that I wrote Murder Mystery performances; casting them, directing them and performed them in local dinner/theater location. I’ve always been bad a memorizing lines, so by writing my own material and designing the things to be interactive-adlibbing with the audience, I found my niche. Last couple years they’ve become more of a “second job” than “something fun” … started doing them because the local establishment kept asking me to do more of them and got some pay for them. Then geocaching came along … less work, more fun … you may notice I’ve got a high “owner” vs. “finder” ratio, this is due to my creative nature being stronger than my sense of direction (hence my avatar trail going in circles) … plus the wife and kids will only let me loose in the woods (with or without them) for so long.

Tami, regarding your running life, you happen to know a “Matt Thull” (Al’s Run Photo ) or a “Mark Manning”.
