I once almost die of thirst in Tennessee when asking where the nearest bubbler was.

Same state, I was at a hotel lounge and asked for a Pabst (1979 it was) and the bartender gave me a blank stare. After a few moments he said “oh! You mean a blue ribbon”!

We almost died two years ago on our trip to the Smokey Mountains. My family is die hard Pepsi drinkers and they don’t sell it in too many stores down there. In fact, I dont remember seeing Pepsi in any store south of Indiana. Had I known that, we would have stocked up on necessities before we left town

I’ve been in Atlanta a few time, the home of Coke. I’m sure Pepsi must be sold somewhere there but the places I went to acted insulted when I asked for a diet Pepsi. Too bad the Wisconsin beer drinkers are not that protective of their home state drinks.
