WSQ…Wisconsin Spirit Quest; denotes that the cache is hidden in a cemetery.
Cachers hiding and finding placements in cemeteries need to keep the location in mind. This is a cemetery, not a game field, and should be treated with respect. Don’t go placing caches willy-nilly in every cemetery you can find, and don’t go running around laughing and joking when you are searching for them. These are reminders we all need from time to time.
Try finding a few of the “WSQ” caches to get a feel of how they are handled before placing any.
Here’s some boilerplate that we use on some of our cemetery caches:
Cemeteries are not parks. Please be respectful. Any inappropriate logs will be deleted. Please hunt cemetery caches only during daylight hours and respect visitors who are there. The cache is not by any grave although the cache may use information on a headstone for reference.
I am placing 2 WSQs in the next couple weeks and like what marc and gotta run have on their pages…I’ll have to meld the two together for my pages.
