And then there was the time we were searching around in the obvious spots. I looked inside a big hollow log to find this:

Kinda spooked me.
03/21/2007 at 3:41 am #1871778I remember doing a Devils lake cache once and I saw this strange looking………
Wait a Minute I just realized it was Marc, Forget it.
03/21/2007 at 2:13 pm #1871779Almost stuck my hand right into a porcupine’s belly who was sleeping in a tree hole near a cache once.

If you were in the Minneapolis area, that could have been a Posen hide.
If I had found that in a hollow log at ground zero I would have pulled it out expecting to find a cache container in the head cavity.

It was a Leopold Legacy cache, so I knew we were looking for a big ammo can – not a skull. But I know there exist caches that would have incorporated it.

WE went to an out of the way cache on a dead end road and found a similar “ITEM” as Miata. Never saw a guy hop from the back to the front seat so darn fast!! LOL We all just played like nothing unusual happenend. I noted it in my log though LOL It was at THIS cache on July 22, 2006
Still cracks me up to this day! I am sure he convinced his g/f…”Oh Honey..no one would EVER come down this road” They don’t know Geocachers that well do they?!?! LOL
03/22/2007 at 4:42 am #1871784Me and the misses really wish the cachers in our fair state
would start wearing bells and singing as they go along the
roads and trails. I loose more pants because of you. 😆03/23/2007 at 10:20 pm #1871785@Trudy & the beast wrote:

03/24/2007 at 1:32 pm #1871788I think Trudy and the beast’s story wins the prize. I can just picture it!

That sounds like something we’d do.
