Now if only I could learn to be compulsive about cleaning my house I would feel better about myself….

Dude, I hear you over here… I hate cleaning. The measley 2 hrs a day I get to myself do not want to be spent cleaning πŸ˜€

On the topic, I am not really an a super obsessive person, but there are a few things that I get on spurts with… Cacheing is one of them, but it wouldn’t seem as much like it since I don’t have a lot of free time πŸ˜‰ Life has gotten in the way of that one, namely pregnancy put that one on hold for a while.
Other than that, parenting is really my main time consumer these days. When I do have free time and I”m not cacheing, I am watching various sci fi shows ( Battlestar, stargates and more), or reading a Star Wars novel… (yes, I’m a total girl geek). I also like to game (pc)… Over the years I’ve played various MMORPG’s (kudos if you know what that is lol). That is often my wind down time after the kids go to bed, since I definately can’t play during their waking hours πŸ™‚

    I don’t remember what I did pre-kids lol

Hey Sara, Because my geocaching has been put on hold for most of the summer due to a broken leg, I’m spending altogether too much time in front of the TV. I’ve been joking with my wife that she’s going to have to teach me how to knit or crochet to keep me occupied while I’m healing, but I’m afraid that I’ll get all obsessive about it! Right now we can’t afford to have two yarn collectors in the house.

Well, I like to hunt and fish.with pheasant hunting is southwestern Minnesota being a new passion the last few years.
I also sit on the local chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society, so that keeps me busy also. My goal is to make a map of all the local came trails in the area. With so much County and State land up here, well, that’s a lot of trails. And yes, that gives me a chance to hunt for new place for cache hides. Usually, my days of from work, I’m out with my Geo-Trio pups GPSing trails. I also like to dabble in photography and am/was an avid reader. John Sandford is my favorite. He is the only writer I’ll buy in hard cover. Winter Prey is my favorite as it is set up in this area in Sawyer County, but in the book it takes place in fictitious Ojibwa County I believe. I also enjoy cooking, camping and canoeing too.

You’re twisting the original meaing of GeoPink’s post, because he was joking that zuma posted the same message twice. But I think you knew that. πŸ™‚ Regarding my number of posts in these forums, did u also c how long I’ve been at it? Also, most of those were made in the Board of Directors forum when I was either president, vice president or secretary.

i don’t think i was really obsessive with anything before geocaching, really the only reason why i picked geocaching up, was so i have something to do with my time, have two days off and then every other weekend off, you get a lot of free time and i’m an outdoor kind of gal and sitting in my room with nothing to do, is not fun, so i had to find something that gets me away from the station and out of walmart all the time.. ( explain walmart part some other time) so for me it really was something to get me out and away from work and thinking of work and not trying to be homesick all the time…

Frizz, I’ll tell you a little secret. πŸ˜‰ I was and still kind of am obsessed with downloading photos on JS Online’s “Your Photos” page. I have slowed down since I have started geocaching, because that website has now become my photo gallery. I have 100’s of them downloaded, in numerous categories. I got a Fujifilm FinePix A200 2.0 Mega Pixels camera with our computer a number of years back and I take it everywhere and snap away. I’m debating getting a better camera, but this one is so oldschool for digitals that I am going to keep snapping away until I have to bury it in our back woods.
