What to do….
I personally kind of hate being disappointed when you can’t find a cache. So if you would take a look at my cache and read the logs — if you been to it already tell me if you think I should bump the difficulty lvl up to a 5.
Wondering if I should put a fire pin on a tree that’s relatively close to the cache to at least let people know they are looking in the right place. Let me know what you think.

Sounds like a great cache to me. Difficulty seems appropriate. I look forward to visiting it!

This is a great cache, and no, I wouldnt bump the difficulty to a 5 cuz it just aint that hard. While I spent 40 minutes the first time looking for it, and got no joy, that was after several inches of fresh snow. The second time I looked, I found it within 10 minutes, so it is definately not a 4. It is a fairly decent size cache, so if anyone looks they should find it.
Also, it is in a great spot, so it doesnt matter how long it takes to find it. What I dont like are mini-micros placed in yucky spots, where I would just as soon not be anyway, such as next to a freeway, or a micro in a sea of brush. (Visited 2 of these in MN a couple of days ago.)
If anything, the difficulty if probably a 3, given the size of the container. The only reason that I would even give it that high is that there are a lot of good potential hiding spots within 30 feet, forcing one to search a little bit, rather than just head for an obvious beacon. Also, you have placed it (I think cleverly) in a place that is not a geobeacon, in an area with a lot of geobeacons.
It is a great cache, so dont worry about it. Just put out a few more, so I have reason to head back your way. I cant afford to drive that far just for the one that I have left of yours.

Keep On Cachin In The Free World.It is good. The “under lower level” might throw people off. Some folks seemed to be really ripping up the area. I would like to congratulate you on the Grotto cache it is the greatest. Ratz
This cache is meant to be hard yet and I expect the occasional DNF but 3 in a row is what got me concerned.
Also, I typically stay away from caches that have 3-4 DNF due to the fact I don’t want to be searching for a cache that could actually be missing. Based on this I worried people will shy away when out caching.
I do how ever find that you think it’s only a lvl 3 after spending 40 min looking for it. When I check on it last I was still surprised at how well it blended into its surroundings and I know right where to look. This is the 1st time I tried to make a difficult cache placement so why I want to make sure it is rated appropriately.
Hope to hear from others that might have done the cache.

This is also a good point I want the hint to be helpful but not give away the cache. I agree that the current hint is vague unless you found the cache. If you or Zuma have an idea for a better hint feel free to email me what you think would work.

Just put out a few more, so I have reason to head back your way. I cant afford to drive that far just for the one that I have left of yours.
Still working on that other cache with the DNR. Unfortunately since there is private land close by its being checked to make sure the cache is actually on DNR land. Who knows, maybe they find out that the whole town is actually owned by someone else and everyone will be evicted from their homes due to my cache.

As soon as I win the lottery and can afford the gas, I’d like to head your way for some geocaching! (seriously though, I do hope to come your way this summer perhaps.)

There are no shortcuts to any place worth goingAfter 3-4 DNF’s, you might want to log a note that you know that it is still there.
The other way I’ve seen in hints, is a three part hint labled as such:

Spoilerthen separate them a bit, and the searcher can decode only the one(s) that is/are necessary.
