Happy belated geo-anniversary 😀 Mine was back in July dating back to ’07…first cache was a big ole ammo box in Copper Culture State Park. My thoughts then were “What treasure is in there?!!” That’s one thing that has never changed whenever I run across one of those in the woods.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
Milestones were celebrated by the hundred, not by the thousand. And what is even a thousand or two these days? 🙄

I still celebrate my milestones by the hundreds. Heck, I have just 90 finds total just for this year so getting to 100 is a big deal for me. A good day for me is 10-20 finds. I HATE power trails. No imagination to it. Find one film can in the woods and repeat 300 times. No thanks.
And happy geo-versary, Sandlanders. Mine is in April.

Happy Geoversary! I remember my first lamppost cache. I was stumped! It took three trips to Wisconsin Rapids before I figured out where it was. I was so impressed I went back to Marshfield and placed one.
I saw my first one in New Jersey…I thought it was brilliant….ya not so much anymore.
Just went back to the logs for my first (and last) LPC. I thought it was tough, so I rated it a 3 for difficulty. Here are some of the comments from logs:
Didn’t even bother taking the GPS along since it was obvious where and how it would be hidden when we looked at the map.
Log = “X cache is X”
where X = obvious
When I looked at the cache page, I saw this was a 3/1.5 so I wasn’t sure, but when I spotted the beacon as soon as I turned the corner, it was obvious that this cache was really going to be a 1/1.
