My first car owned was a 1975 VW Super-Beetle. The weird thing was, that this car had electronic fuel injection, virtually unheard of for the time. The car would only barely produce enough heat in the winter to clear a little spot on the windshield. Ah, memories.

1950 Plymouth. I got my first 3 cars for less than the DMV wants for me to “give” my daughter the car she has driven for the last 5 years! Guess it aint gunna happen. $150 to change the name on a title…..

Unique? You better look up the meaning of that word.

I started driving just before the era of muscle cars. All of my friends eventually had one.
Some of the cars I owned in the 1960’s
    1955 Chevy Bel-Air
    1956 Chevy Bel-Air
    1957 Chevy Bel-Air
    1959 Chevy Impala
    1963 Chevy Impala convertible

If I still had all of them I could pay someone to find geocaches for me.

The ’57. My dream car. Was it a hard top Bill?

2 door hardtop, red and off white tutone. Bored 283 with a Holley 4-barrel and a rare 2 speed automatic.

Ah, the 2 speed superglide! Has that tranny in my 65 Impalla SS 327. Strangly enough, I loved that tranny.

A ford something. It was a loaner until I bought an 86 buick century in 1992.

I’ll never drive a ford again. I would rather push a chevy than drive a ford.

Current car is a 98 buick century. I will drive GM cars only.

All my Fords treated me very well. They must not like you Todd. They can probably sense your dislike of them.

    Oh jeez……

    I have had a few.

First Car was a 1988 Subaru GL-10 turbo. Five Speed All Wheel Drive.. yes, it would Take Mustangs/Camaro’s/Firebirds… At least across Intersections, and up into Second gear…..

Second Car was a 1986 Pontiac Firebird Formula. 305 With 700R4 4 speed automatic. This car was a Major Pooch…. Honestly, the Subaru GL-10 Would of stroked it… That was until the 454 Big Block was put in… Worked great for about two months until the Transmission decided it would rather not shift into second, or third…. Would go first to Overdrive…

Third car was a 1990 Mustang GT 5.0L 5 Speed Stick Hatch Back.
Bought Cheap to put the drive train into a 1992 Mustang LX Hatch Back that came with a 2.3L 4 Cylinder and a Dog-a-Matic Transmsision.

Fourth Car was said 1992 Mustang LX Notch Back. 2.3L Auto, switched to 5.0L 5 Speed with 3.73 Gears.

Fifth Car was a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 4.0L 5 Speed manual. Still have this jeep with 210,000 on the Clock. Just broke in…

The Two Speed Automatic was the PowerGlide. They can be made to Handle quite a bit of Horsepower……

    Any Classic cars are cool..

I think the Neatest Car I ever drove was a 1971 Buick Wild Cat…. 455 High Output Stage II Motor. Thing was a Tank. When you rolled down the windows, there was nothing from the A-Pilliar, to the Back C-Pilliar.

Once in High School, we had 9 People in said car, and stroked a Mid 90’s Camaro… When you would punch the Gas, the car would torque to the Left, and Just stay there till you lifted your foot off the gas…. that thing would not spin the tires though… Drum brakes, and way to heavy….

The neat thing about the WildCat though, is that in the original Dealer sales literature, there was a line that said that this car was meant for Mom to take to the Grocery Store Every night of the week, and for Junior to take the car out on Friday Nights and Blow his friends into the weeds……

    Ah, Gotta love cars….

1968 Rambler Rebel…sure wish I still had it with our kids learning to drive. It was kind of a tank!

Mate’s was a ’71 VW Beetle-robin’s egg blue. Captain went with a ’63 Corvair (and lived to tell about it!), dark red, and he wouldn’t drive out to the road in it today. That must be why we got together-we both were into the rear engine thing.

Have you had to pay to replace a lower intake manifold gasket yet on a GM? You are losing that pretty pink coolant as we speak and have been wondering where it is going. 😳

Been there done that. Never again………

yeah, I have to agree with Mike. Those Lower GM Intake Manifold Gaskets Suck. replaced them on KS9WI’s Buick Century with a 3800 Series Two. That was no fun….

Had to do the same on our old 99 Olds Alero… TWICE in 65k miles. Didn’t learn until after the second replacement that had we switched out the red coolant to the green, the seals wouldn’t have gone bad the second time. 😯

I had a 92 ford ranger with the 4.0 v6 2WD. This thing was awesome, it was a beater so I did anything with it. I would take this thing places most people would not even attempt with 4wd, and would make it because I could total it and only be out 400 bucks. I beat the hell out of it, and it would not die. When I finally had to upgrade I sold it with 175,000 miles on it and it was working great. About 5 YEARS LATER…I ran into a guy filling it up, it had just under 400,000 miles on it!!!!! He used it every day to run stuff from Ohskosh to Milwaukee. One tranny rebuild is all he had done to it! One of the happiest days of my life. Wish I had it back for some of my caching excursions. Still have my 97 ranger, and have not had even a hiccup out of this one either.

1974 AMC Hornet Hatchback. That was the first one with my name on the title, but the first car I had to drive was an Rambler American. 1964 model.

My brother, a car buff, has bought one for himself out of nostalgia! LOL
His good car is a brand new Mercedes!
