What’s the Deal with your User Name?

I’m pretty sure there’s an old thread here somewhere, but thanks to a suggestion from CodeJunkie here’s a new one. Lots of new people anyway.

Ours is pretty straightforward: we are a family of runners (see the avatar over <--- there ) and, as a family with school-age kids, we've always "gotta run" somewhere!

Seeing I suggested this I better weigh in.

CodeJunkie – Computer Engineer that loves to “play” with technology. As my wife says “You engineers make the easy things hard and the hard things easy.” Some of the Kings / Knights of Selzzup will attest to this as I’ve made some of their hides way harder than required. Also have 2 daughters which are the highlight of our lives.

When I first heard about Geocaching I quickly got signed up and set my username as Stobber, which I use for allot of things. Well when I realized that my wife liked caching as much as I did I quickly realized we needed a new name for both of us. While finding Fox Proposal Point we stood up after signing the log and we both had MuddyBottoms…we knew right away what our new Name was going to be.

[Timberline Echoes]

We got the “Timberline” part from our bikes, as they are GT timberlines. The Echo part comes from our dating days when we would echo each other’s statements, although these days it seems we repeat each other often, so echo is still working for us. Or have to reapeat to hear what the other said… Mr. TE got new tires for his truck last week and they happen to be timeberlines also, so now our name is all around his truck.
