Well, we go to Las Vegas a few times a year and we like to gamble. I had first logged a different name but that only was for me but changed it because we cache together.

I get this question everytime I cross paths with another. I often get, “you don’t even have a beard”. I read the book “How I became a Pirate” about a million times to my daughters. The Pirate, Braid Beard, asks a child he met (more like kidnapped) on a beach to hide his treasure. It seemed to fit.

    I like busses.

Wait… that one’s already been taken.

Copied from a log on a cache asking the same question:
I’m not sure if I even remember the whole story behind the name, but Team Black-Cat has been around in one form or another for almost twenty years. I have had a few black cats, but only one really stands out in my memory. That cat was a personal mascot of sorts, but wasn’t the inspiration for the name. The TBC moniker has followed me through numerous hobbies including RC racing and RC airplanes, as well as being my handle on a few online sites.

Captain comes from 35 years of driving excursion boats around Geneva Lake as a summer job. Now that I’m retired from education, it’s become a primary job. Mate, of course, is a loving wife, former colleague in the teaching profession(also now retired), avid caching partner, and even a former crew member on the boats.

I’ve carried the virtual persona of cheeto since the early days of the internet and before. Back in the day I used to “chat” on the old mirc on the university computers as cheeto. This was about the time that Netscape was king of the web browsers.

/me has always been a computer nerd

The origin of my nickname? It originated back in high school at a subway. No real backstory, just a nickname. Though much later at a party I drank a bit too much and ate a few too many cheetos…

    You asked 😉

My 1st car was a 1972 baby blue Mercury Cougar. I got that car in 1977. Back then Cb radios were the big thing back then WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY before cell phones. My CB handle was blue_cougar (for the color of the car & the model of it). As said before old habits are hard to die so I kept my CB handle. 54494 is the zip for where I live (Wisconsin Rapids).

Oh ya……… I like busses also…….& I make the wheels on the bus go round & round (in other words I proudly drive a bus)

And I thought now that my son is 11, I’d never have to hear that song again. 🙂

TyeDye= my favorite color though I havn’t worn it in years. Sky= My head is always in the clouds. Guy= Well I’m aguy. On GC.com, it’s Crew at the end, cause we usually cache as a family. Why the “y’s”? It just looks better!

I love animals and I love fur. I like the whole trapping mentality if you will, from trying to outsmart an animal, to being very much self-sufficient. I never really had anyone to mentor me in trapping, so I try to learn more about it by reading about it. I tend to over think when it comes time to put things to use, thus the “fool”. I have been accused by more than a few people of being born 200 years too late.

    I don’t have hands.
