I like the “Kimmy” ornament, and we have a couple of those granny square socks that you can just see at the edge of the photo.

A tiny Santa made of felt with pipe cleaner feet from the 1920’s. I remember it on my grandma’s tree and it now gets front billing on our tree.

And if my kids read this….every ornament they ever made me.

Hard to pick a favorite. My wife has been collecting authentic German hand blown glass ornaments since her grandmother got her started. Along with this is a collection of handblown glass birds and unique glass icicles.

The tradition of finding additional ornaments each year is what makes it the most special considering it’s carrying on a tradition she started with her grandmother who passed away a number of years ago.

Now that the ornaments are on the tree, there are too many favorites. Our tree isn’t one of those designer trees either. Almost all of them are one of a kind, starting with one I was given by a friend who is now in heaven (handmade straw skier), some personalized cookie dough ones from when our son was little and believe it or not, a couple satin, beads and sequin ones that Phil made for me before we were married.
