Memberthat are still listed on the archived events?
Just looking at the past events I have attended and though there are only four of them there are many trackables that are still listed on the cache pages even though the event has been archived.
the Houdini WWFM event has 30 trackables listed with several that are TBs from Grampa Jim’s class. They have to be in someone’s caching bag.

MemberI think it all has something to do with quantum physics and string theory. The missing trackables still exist on another plane. We are out of phase to that plane and simply can’t see them. From time to time, the strings cross and objects can pass from one plane to another. If you go back to the site of the event, set up camp where the trackable table was located, and wait for a few thousand years; they just might reappear.
Then again, we could always blame it on newbies who think the trackables are some kind of door prize. Wouldn’t be the first time.

MemberI think that usually these are still with the original owner, who takes the coin to an event for people to discover. It is just too much trouble for some to get their item back out of the cache listing. That said, I doubt that it hurts anything if people want to use an event for virtual storage.

MemberI truly understand the virtual storage for coins but there are “Travel Bugs” that are not traveling as they are supposed to be because they are “stalled” in the event.
Personally, I have no vested interest in the movement of these bugs, but the Seton travel bugs are part of some students schoolwork. I find it a disappointment that these are not moving as the students would like them to be.Here is my Plea….. If you have one of these bugs, please move it along.

MemberWe have been in contact with grandpa jim about his bugs, we brought them to the event, and the only trading we did was with auntie nae. we traded all of our trackables for all she had with her, we know that we gave them to her and have gave this info to Jim hope they show up, we know she sold her car shortly after the houdini event, hope they wernt under the seat

Participantsweetlife is correct, the 02 Explorer is no more. I knew things were not good when it blew out a spark plug. We went for the quick repair versus the total head replacement when the diagnosis included the transmission was about to go. We were quickly thrown into the “buy a new car now” scenario
So, my world, after the Thanksgiving holiday involved picking up the new car and then straight home to bed. I picked up the “nice” sinus/ deep cough thing going around. Folks, if you are sick these days, please STAY HOME. I picked it up from someone at work who DID NOT. I spent last week attempting to recover. It has now flared up my asthma pretty bad this week.
I did get the Waukesha JanBoree event listing up last week and hope to get the travel bugs I am holding rocking along just as soon as I can breathe again.

MemberThanks for the update on these Setoncachers TBs. I am sure they will be happy to know that they will be moving soon.
Please don’t think that I am down on anyone as I sometimes have coins or bugs for extended periods when I just cannot get out caching. It happens. I was just concerned as I stated in previous posting that some of the TBs in these events haven’t moved for months and months. Maybe some ARE in virtual storage there.Get better soon Renee. There is alot of that kind of ailment out there and I agree that if one is not feeling well, and you are able to, stay home and care for yourself. You and your coworkers will appreciate it.
