Just curious if anyone that is going to MWGB has a Colorodo or a PPC????
I see there is a WhereIGo cache there, and it might be fun if we could get a group hunt for this one, since most of dont have the right hardware.
The cache is GC1EPFE
thanks

08/04/2008 at 7:11 pm #1894147Brilliant minds think alike. I was just about to pose the same question. Any Colorado equipped Wisconsinites head for Bash?
08/04/2008 at 7:17 pm #1894148No Colorado here, but if we find one, it’d be fun to try.
08/05/2008 at 12:22 am #1894149I don’t have a Colorado, but I do have a PocketPC. I would have to look this up tonight to see what would be needed..
I am up for it.
Justin.

Thanks Justin. The page says that a PPC is preferred, though a Colorado would work.

08/05/2008 at 12:41 am #1894151OK, I loaded the Player, but Does anybody have a Bluetooth GPS, that we can use?
That is all we would need. I have the rest ready to go.
08/05/2008 at 2:15 am #1894152WooHoo. I found my Bluetooth Delorme GPS, so we are good to go!!! I will have the PocketPC, as well as the Bluetooth GPS. When do we want to do this?
08/05/2008 at 2:27 am #1894153I have it loaded into our Colorado also. We are not getting there till Friday and are playing poker on Saturday. We will hook up at some time I hope.

WI Robin is playing poker also, and I might be. Honeybunnies might be as well. How about we plan on doing it after the poker tournement, and then I can share my winnings with the tour group?

Well with so many people from Wisconsin, we may be able to take the whole pot. 😆
08/05/2008 at 3:38 am #1894156Well, I have the MWGB Cart. Loaded, as well as the Tutorial Cart. All should be good to go.
After the Poker tournament sounds great to me.
Going to be leaving Wisconsin Early Wednesday Morning.
See you guys all there!
08/06/2008 at 11:55 am #1894157Well, if my neighbors didn’t think I was completely insane, now they know!!! I was out last night testing out the Whereigo tutorial. It had me walking up and down the sidewalk. Was pretty straight forward. Looks like the setup will work just fine.

So, did you feed the Alien?
08/06/2008 at 8:35 pm #1894159How about we meet at 7:30 for the WhereIgo cache? This would be after the Mexican supper at 6:00, for which I posted in the other thread, and which I hope a lot of WGA members can attend.
We could meet for the WhereIGo cache at the posted starting point for the cache, which is right in the campground, and right near the center of all the action.
The coords are: N 41° 27.080 W 085° 15.215
I hope that all who are interested can show up for the group hunt.
Thanks.

08/06/2008 at 9:28 pm #1894160Hoping we can get in on the fun of dinner and the WhereIGo hunt. We’re kind of dependent on our ride and when we can get there.
