Hmm, my first response seems to be blank. Let’s try again.
(GT)= Approved GeoTour Restaurant to earn points towards a Geocoin
Yes, some local good eats are Dublins (GT), Riverside Brewery (GT), Poplar Inn, Cafe Soeurette, West Bend Tap & Tavern (GT), Benders (GT), Ninja Japanese Steakhouse, and Grasshopper (breakfast and lunch). The food is really outstanding at all of these places, although some are on the pricier side.
Some geocachers have discovered The Braising Pan, a German-American restaurant very near Regner Park. Ja, you can get Schnitzel and Sauerbraten and Rinderrouladen and Beer-Battered Brat Bites (as well as classic American dishes). The portions are very generous and it’s a fun place to try food you can’t get anywhere else. http://braisingpanwestbend.com/our-menu/
For Italian lovers, try Michaleno’s Pizzeria. They have a very large reasonably-priced menu (and they also deliver). http://www.michalenos.com/menu.html A couple other good places for pizza include Sal’s Pizzeria downtown and Maricio’s in Barton.
A new Mexican restaurant/bar just opened downtown called Casa Tequila, but I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. The menu looks yummy though.
For a classic family restaurant with reasonable prices and large portions, Omnicron will fit the bill.
For chain restaurants, The Charcoal Grill just opened and they have yummy burgers. Of course, there’s always Applebees and Texas Roadhouse (GT), and Buffalo Wild Wings (GT).
I hope that helps. So many choices!!
I would agree that Dublin’s is worth the visit. Been there a couple times form modern Irish food and 40 lines of tap beer. Yum.
We have been to Casa Tequila in Pewaukee and Hartford and have always enjoyed the meals there.

Last year some group had a fund-raising brat sale outside of a meat market. We stopped and had a few. Pretty good and I think they were made right there.
I ate at Casa Tequila two times this past weekend and it was so worth it.
Texas Roadhouse!
