One by one, the list of cachers I’d like to meet on the trails has been gradually reduced. Of all the geocachers who’ve been on my list of folks to meet, there’s been one who’s been on that list since I first started caching. That would be the ever-elusive Polskaqueen.
I’ve heard tales from my fellow cachers about the actual existance of this person. I’ve spoken on the telephone to a person who says she’s the actual Polskaqueen, but I don’t know. Without a visual confirmation, I just can’t say that she exists.
One certain Master Nai would very much like to meet his nemesis. He keeps asking me when you’re placing a new Cache Linda. He’s ready to go find one.
And yes, Vince Condella caches. Isn’t that groovy, neat, swell, keen and nifty?
Oh yeah, I can now add the Knoffer to my ever-growing list of cachers.
But what about Spunky the Weather Dog? Does Spunky still forcast? I bet he’d be a great geocacher and I’d love to meet him on the trail. In fact, meeting pets have been one of the great bonuses of caching.
Tell Master Nai, that I have some caches in mind, but I stuck them on hold due to the large volume of great caches that have popped up in Ktown lately. (Kenosha is a GREAT place to cache!) Maybe in springtime…..
I have met alot of cachers in the last month. Some at the “Breakfast event thingie” that was held last weekend and some on the trail.
The cachers I have met on the trails consists of: Hugh Foundit, Sunnybird, Land-Mark, Tyedyeskyguy and Tyedyeskygal, Bluesquirtles and a family that I didn’t get their ID.
At the event I met: TK895, Freespace69, Missyja007, CinemaBoxers, Starwarsguy and family, and The Cheeseheads.
Then I was out for the second time at a cache site when the owner (Rogheff) came strolling in. He asked me if I wanted to go caching. After he got done twisting my arm I said sure and then met up with brkster and Cacherclan and spent a good part of the day caching. Was a great time.
Everbody I have met is great. The best part is that we all share the same passion. The thrill of the hunt and the outdoors.
