Sorry, but despite me being in hot water for going to this game on Christmas Eve, my 4 tickets are accounted for. That’s why I buy crummy Vikings season tickets, just to get the GB game.
However, I did get an offer from the Vikings for additional playoff tickets. I can order some for you if you want. Of course we don’t know if they’d host GB come post season. If they play no one at home I get refunded.

**Today (12-10) is the last day to vote in this contest!!**

As I write this, there’s less than 2 1/2 hours left to vote. Last chance folks! Remember, for making your vote, you get entered into a drawing for a trip to a Packer road game next season. http://www.mkemarketplace.com/fanhof/2004/nomineeseavert.asp

I got my official invitation to the Packers press conference next Friday. I can’t wait to go!

Well, I learn my fate about the Fan Hall of Fame on Friday morning at 9:30. I’ll be sitting at the Packers press conference. Wish me luck! Wear your good luck charms, they might help.

Great story about Mike in this morning’s Journal Sentinel! I’m glad I voted for him — several times. http://www.jsonline.com/news/metro/dec04/284831.asp

Thanks to everyone who have shown their support, given words of encouragement, sent e-mails, and voted for me on a daily basis. Unfortunately, looks like I came up short with the votes. The honors went to Dorothy Hanke from Milwaukee. It was a pleasure to meet her and the other finalists this morning at the Packers press conference. And the best part of it all was I got to walk onto the field afterwards. They don’t let you do that on the stadium tours. My students at school seemed disappointed with the news, but it was a great experience and I’m proud to at least make it as a finalist.

If I won, I would have been able to go to the Packers-Jaguars game this weekend. The good thing about not going is I don’t have to freeze off my tail as it’s supposed to be in single digits at game time.

I will try this contest again next year with my students. It may become a yearly thing until I get in.

Sorry about your loss, Mike. But glad to hear you had fun anyway.

I saw the winner being interviewed a couple weeks ago on one of the TV stations. She definately had the cute factor going for her. I think people like voting for the grandmotherly types…

      Maybe next year!
