I am not a looser thread!! I do wish another person would have made it!!I STAND my ground and HOPE that the WGA will work with ALL!!!!!!! STATE , COUNTY, CITY Parks on PLACEING CACHES!!! MOST ARE NOT KNOWN by the PARK & REC!!!
Can you give me your superviser or else name for placeing your cache?? I would like to see ALL Members give the name of who they had permission from!! I can give mine but I need yours. We need a list of PLACES in the state that accept GEOCACHING!! I worked for over 6 months for placeing a cache in Genesse Depot and still have to waite till spring! I have permission for one park in spring till they see what it will do to their park!! DOUBT ME!!! Contact Ron Hill @ [email protected]. I do not place caches with out Land Owner Permission other than PARK & Rides, and rest areas. I will delete them if needed!
PLEASE!! IF you can ADD Park & rec INFO!! Lets help others PLACE caches with the OK!!

02/14/2007 at 1:06 am #1770197I’m confused.. what do you mean?
02/14/2007 at 1:16 am #1770198I was wondering also, but thought I’d be the only one.
02/14/2007 at 1:41 am #1770199I believe I have a workable translation:
I am not a looser thread!! I do wish another person would have made it!!
“Congratulations to all newly elected members of the Board! There were many good candidates, and it was a hard-fought campaign!”I STAND my ground and HOPE that the WGA will work with ALL!!!!!!! STATE , COUNTY, CITY Parks on PLACEING CACHES!!! MOST ARE NOT KNOWN by the PARK & REC!!!
I hope that the new Board will work with State, County and City park managers to educate and increase awareness of this wonderful sport that can only increase the usage and popularity of their facilities. As we know, many caches are placed without notifying said managers, perhaps due to fear of rejection. Can you give me your superviser or else name for placeing your cache??
TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER!!!! (?) (Translation may be off)I would like to see ALL Members give the name of who they had permission from!!
Did you ask permission placing your last cache?I can give mine but I need yours.
I’ll show you mine if you show me YOURS. (?)We need a list of PLACES in the state that accept GEOCACHING!!
It would be just SPLENDID if the WGA could formulate and maintain a list of areas in which Geocaching is welcome, along with pertinent information such as who to contact, etc. This would save much grief for cachers such as myself who, in good faith, religiously seek permission prior to placing new caches. Ron Hill can vouch for my sincerity in this matter.PLEASE!! IF you can ADD Park & rec INFO!! Lets help others PLACE caches with the OK!!
PLEASE, i beg of you, new Board of Directors: Let us establish said list! It will be of benefit to all for years to come!See your local P&R
Visit your local Parks and Recreation manager!***** End of Translation *****
Ok, that is my best guess. I am not a translator by trade, so correct me if i am wrong 🙂
02/14/2007 at 3:16 am #1770200Now the above post is funnyLOL
02/14/2007 at 11:46 am #1770201😆 Thraxman Henry Kissinger of Geocaching! If you are not too buzy there is a little squabble in Iraq that could use your translation skill.
02/14/2007 at 3:00 pm #1770202ahhhhh, I get it now. I think 🙂
02/14/2007 at 4:31 pm #1770203Even after tapping a few beers, I still didn’t understand it. 🙂
02/14/2007 at 4:52 pm #1770204Thanks for the translation, it all makes so much sense now.
02/14/2007 at 5:11 pm #1770205In the second sentence, I believe Brian was stating that he wished Renee had been elected to the WGA as she has extensive experience working with park departments to promote geocaching.
02/14/2007 at 8:07 pm #1770206thanks for explaining that … being that I’m a tea-totaler, I too was feeling a bit confused.
02/15/2007 at 1:50 am #1770207Thanks Thraxman
Your translation was correct. I am a painter by trade, not a typist. Sorry for the confusion.
