I was just wondering who from WGA is planning to go to Geowoodstock V this May. Three of us from Team Bald 2.5 are going. We’re planning on leaving the weekend before, and caching in as many states on the way down as possible. We just got reservations at the Comfort Suites, walking distance from the event headquarters. Who else is going, how long are you staying, and how are you getting there?
Frizz
03/08/2007 at 3:56 am #1870979wish we were going but the littlest czernicacher is still a bit small and we have saved up our vacation for other excursions. Have fun !! 😀
03/08/2007 at 3:58 am #1870980I’m planning to run down there to spend the day Saturday. Probably will camp at least one night. I think Mary is planning to go along too.

03/10/2007 at 5:04 pm #1870983We relocated from Cary, NC last June and are excited to go back and visit with our geocaching friends that introduced us to this great sport. Our team will fly down on Friday AM, and return Monday. We will be staying with our old neighbor friends. If anyone wants a list of family friendly, extremely hard, or down right clever caches, please feel free to contact us. We have approx. 250 finds in the Cary/Apex area.
😆 See you in the Carolina’s

Wait… Carolinas? I thought this topic was referring to the event in Indiana. What’s that one called? I need links!

Hope this helps. Tami03/13/2007 at 10:31 am #1870987The three of us are working on going if we can get a good price on airfare for a quick weekend. We are lucky enough to have relatives there to stay with and drive us around.
03/13/2007 at 2:08 pm #1870988We would love to go but we will be on Ragbrai. A bicycle ride across the state of IA. It is a 489 mile ride over 7 days.
