just read two logs on one of my caches, and two different cachers, (not newbies) put the TB# in the log. isn’t this incorrect procedure?

Not suppose to be putting them IN the log. There isn’t any reason to even do that. I always put the name of the TB, but that’s it. I would think most people are honest enough not to go utilizing the TB number for their own use. It’s silly actually, unless it’s a NUMBERS game for some and they are just trying to impress…well…themselves. LOL

I’ve run into about 3 or 4 times where I’ve seen “Newbie” log entries like that … including a “Newbie” that planted their first TB and put the number right in the description of the TB.

For sure not a good thing to be doing.

When ever I see this happening, I immeditately emailed them, explaining why it’s wrong and tell them to edit their entry (and how to edit the entry, some people don’t know that you can).
