This Log is one of the big reasons I hide caches. To give others enjoyment and to read about their experiences in each of those little corners of the world.
Thanks, Ranger Boy.

Co-conspirator to make the world a better place…09/30/2005 at 7:28 am #1759849Sure, you’re welcome. I just like to note what I am experiencing at the moment. I don’t sign too many with a TFTC or TNSL. I just believe if someone took the time to make the cache I can put some effort into writing about my hunt for it. I’m in no hurry to rack up large numbers, I just live in the moment for each I find. I guess that’s why I just went over only 300 finds even though I’ve been caching for about 3 years.
I enjoy reading a good log entry. My favorites are from JThorson, who usually has a witty one-liner, and this guy out west named Oregone. I have spent hours laughing out loud as I read the hilarious adventures of Oregone.
What logs to WGA members like to read?
09/30/2005 at 1:01 pm #1759850I have to agree that jthorson’s logs are enjoyable. He has a great wit. Oregone seems to have wit, but never comes to the point of the cache. Do I really want to read 3-4 pages about his (mis)adventures with alcohol and sex or how about 3-4 paragraphs, well written about the cache? http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=3af2d9ee-75e5-495b-8c19-0e53239d721b

Circle of Friendship (OK, not actually my cache)
Tick Terror (not mine either, but still hilarious)
My favorite jthorson log:

09/30/2005 at 3:33 pm #1759852Regarding MY hides … I “live for” the entries on the finds, I love reading of the experience of others at my caches. It’s the whole reason I hide them. It’s the only thing I don’t like about hiding caches for EVENTS, you don’t typically get as much positive feedback for your efforts. One reason I’m “for” posting each event find, would be that feedback from each hide.
Regarding caches of OTHERS that I find … I too drink up the experience at each cache we look for … each one is like a field trip to a new place, so I try to reward the hider for their efforts.
