Zuma, you had me until you said I have to be tolerant of cat people. 😉
Yeah, the cat thing is the hardest for me to accept as well, as I am a 100% dog person, and all previous cats I have encountered have understood and respected that fact.
Sadly, Robin’s cat, “Mrs Cougar,” thinks she is a dog and likes to take walks with me and the dogs. She even tries to cuddle with me!!!!! The thought of it: me with a cat. Anyway, I am trying to get past all that and tolerate and accept the dang cat.

Because, unfortunately, that’s the nature of the beast.
I haven’t witnessed this characteristic. Maybe Trudy can shed more light? 😆

I wish I could remember exactly what I wrote. It wasn’t much different that what you wrote. I basically said thank you to the troops past present and future for the sacrifices they make and have made. But The reviewer empathized with me but said he couldn’t publish it. So I dumbed it down to basically nothing so that it would get published.
And I really appreciated that you didn’t get mad at me over it. I really do empathize with tribute type caches and wish they were publishable — I just gotta go by the rules. Some people get very upset about this (again, I understand, there’s just nothing I can do, unless you want to take it to the good folks at groundspeak of course).
And I just like to giggle when people refer to WGA3 as “he” — makes my other identity seem almost secret!
Oh, and God bless you all!

BecI can identify with that 😆
BTW the issue of what is acceptable to publish on a cache page is greater than political correctness as we casually define it. Geocaching is a world-wide activity and we need to realize that what may be patriotic and right here at the WGA may in fact be offensive to a geocacher half-way around this big ball.
I still geocache for God and Country… God bless the USA 😀
07/17/2008 at 9:03 pm #1892062I’ve read… I’ve posted… I’ve thought about the the total waste of caching time for all of us, because we felt that we had to respond to somebody that didn’t like a simple, innocent log entry… Think of the missed FTF’s… The missed TB’s & Coins… Was it worth it??? HELL NO!!!… When you respond to idiots… You only empower them… Please don’t respond to this, I’m a big enough idiot the way it is, I’ve bought stock in “Deep Woods OFF”, ’nuff said…
God Bless Geocaching… 😉

07/17/2008 at 9:30 pm #1892066Same here Team Black Cat. No wasted time here.
But, I’m leaving work soon to look for some caches on my way home.
Maybe go for GC152DA along with GCF7E9 and if I have time try to pick up:
God Bless Out Troops GCWQTV ………might take me some time because they are not here in Wisconsin…..
hmmmmmm interesting.
