Not really. I have no idea how many caches were archived before 7/07.
Just over 1500 caches total were archived in 2008, but I can only guess at the total number placed since 2001. For 2008, it would be about 15 percent of the active caches.

I just realized that my previous numbers include a few out of state caches, but they don’t change the numbers very much…

I thought that was strange too, but if you think about it, half of the caches placed in 2008 have been out for less than six months.
