Has the WGA ever looked into and considered participating in the WI DNR’s Adopt-A-Trail program? We currently have active support for the Adopt-A-Highway Program, with two CITO events held every year. But here is another program which seems like a natural fit with our Geocaching activity, at least from the initial appearance of it.
For example, we support the highway program, which helps with the roads we use for caching, and is consistent with our use of PnG’s; perhaps the Adopt-A-Trail might also be a good fit. We have already participated in several ‘mustard pulls,’ so maybe we are already doing this. And perhaps, a group activity could be tailored to move about and coincide with the WGA campouts.

Provide trails support and clean up.
Perform as crew members on trail construction, renovation, and maintenance.
Assist with the control of invasive species and the planting of native species.
