I asked this question of the BOD candidates in their forum, but may be others would like to share their caching travels around the state, so I’m making this thread for the general WGA population:
Please share what part of Wisconsin you are from and where you have traveled in the state while caching. Not a requirement, but feel free to expand on some of your memorable Wisconsin caching adventures away from your home area.
I’m from the central part of the state. In fact I live 17 miles from the geographic center of the state (GCPNJC). Most of my cache finds have been within 100 miles of home, but I do enjoy getting out to other parts of the state and seeing new things. I currently have found caches in 70 of the 72 counties in Wisconsin. I plan on visiting the last 2 counties, Kewaunee and Door, in February when I go to Green Bay for the WGA Bonfire by the Bay event.
