Hmmm-mmmmm… 6 out of 1386 blue question marks placed. Just doing our part to confuse Wisconsin cachers!
OK. How many caches with “cat” in the title? Will they outnumber the “birds”? 😉
Hmmm… That’s a little harder because “cat” is in a lot of words like catcher and education. I’ll do some figgerin’ and come up with something.
Edit: Looks like 68, which is about ten more than names with “sand” in them.

There are only two active caches with rsplash in the name. 😛
Hmm… only eight with “splash” in the name.

So that only leaves, how many with cedar in the name?
02/14/2010 at 4:19 am #1922078Or “cedar” as the hint?

Ooooo…. Just a minute…
Only 46.
But, 366 have the word “stump” in the hint.
02/14/2010 at 4:33 am #1922080Are you making this stuff up or can you really find out how many of everything there is?
02/14/2010 at 5:06 am #1922081No, not making anything up. I keep GSAK as up to date and complete as possible without making the frog angry. But, only on Wisconsin caches.
02/14/2010 at 5:12 am #1922082Ok, how about this. The break down of size of caches? nano to unknown container in thr state?
02/14/2010 at 5:58 am #1922083Large – 63
Other/Not chosen – 1083
Small – 3383
Regular – 3853
Micro – 5264Other/Not Chosen includes Earth Caches and Events as well as regular caches.
02/14/2010 at 3:30 pm #1922084How about some logging statistics? Most found…least found (which I assume will be a tie)…least/most found over days in place…
Edit: Now that I think about it, not sure if those stats come thru on the PQ

The only way I could figure most found is by the number of “found it” logs. I don’t have all the logs on older caches, and only “most” of the logs on new caches. The limits by GC would mean that a really busy cache (brand new, or near a big event) would have more logs than I can get in a PQ. The best I could do would be very skewed, but I’ll see if I can come up with something interesting.
02/14/2010 at 7:21 pm #1922086“base of tree” as the hint
02/14/2010 at 7:31 pm #1922087how about “No hint needed”…
