    Actually… No it has not

For me at least, I expected it.

We have now passed over 1200 coins sold. We have also gotten our biggest single order to date… 112 coins. Wow.

FWIW, that’s Nurse Dave’s geocoin group. He buys 112 of any group/organization or event coin possible and distributes 3 to every member.

A reminder… tomorrow is the last day that you can order your 2005 Wisconsin geocoins. The store is set to stop accepting orders at midnight tomorrow night.

We will do a final tally of orders over the weekend and then contact geocaching.com and the coin company on Monday to kick off the process of getting our tracking numbers and getting the coins minted.

Coin orders have been slowing down. The current count of coins sold is about 1250.

Coin sales were closed at midnight last night.

Preliminary figures are 1380 coins sold, though this may exceed 1400 after we resolve the status of some questionable orders that we haven’t received payment for yet. The number of coins sold far exceeded our expectations (we were worried about selling 500 coins to break even ), and based on the success of this sale I would say it is highly likely the WGA will have another one next year.

Thanks to everyone who ordered coins and we’ll be working on getting them made and shipped ASAP!

A question was asked on GC.com if the ship date for the WI coin was still on track. If you let me know I can post or someone else can.

Got my coins week or so ago. they look great, sending one of them into the wild soon (tbpxwq)

How many total coins were made? trying to get an idea of its potential trade value compared to other coins.

When do plans start for a 2006 design?

1450 coins were minted, and about 1425 were actually sold. The extra coins are being held until we’re sure everybody got their coins and they are in good shape (there were a small number that had issues with the engraved tracking number). At this point, it looks like the WGA will not sell any of the extras… they may be used for giveaways at future events, etc.

Let’s at least wait to start until 2006.

Wisconsin is one of my favorite states to cache. I am looking for the trackable Wisconsin Deer geocoin. I would like to trade my personal AJAYHAWKFAN coin for it. All AJAYHAWKFAN coins are activated.

If interested contact me at [email protected]

Thanks for all the offers. I made the trade this morning.

Howdy y’all Pepper here from TX, I have one of your state coins. I did not activate way back when and I’m looking to do so now. One problem I lost the activation code (if it came with it) and I’m trying to find out where I can get the activation code for my prettyful coin. : )

thanks a bunch for any help you can throw my way
