I know this will be short notice, but…Natloh22, Not So Lost Puppies and the Hotdogs Off Trail have been working with the Scouts in the Madison area on an event where we introduce Geocaching to small groups of Scouts. They were going to have their event in Verona on Feb 3 (canceled due to -30 wind chills) and then last weekend (can celled to snow and blizzard).
They are going to try again in conjunction with the WI. River District this weekend March 3 – Saturday. The event will be held at Blackhawk Lake County Park west of Dodgeville (near Cobb, I think)…registration at 11:30, event from Noon to 4 PM.
Not So Lost Puppies will be out of state, so we are looking for some volunteers to help out with this event. We will be hiding a few temp geocaches and explaining geocaching, taking small groups on a short geo-hunt as part of their events.
Anyone available this weekend and need some great fresh air??
