Wisconsin’s first Jeep Travel bug has been placed. The winning cache is GCG6JA, “See Equals Two Pie Are”

Who will be the first one to grab it?

I think I must have logged on just after the notice was posted that the Jeep was out, so we decided to go in the rain and see if he would still be there. Forgot the bug spray, so the mosquitos had a good lunch. We will get him placed out again very soon.

I have one placed now in Appleton. I have to leave soon for work, so more will come tomorrow.

As the Yellow Jeep Travel Bug fever is starting to wind down, it is surely not dead.

The first drawing for 1 of the 3 REAL Jeeps being given away is in 9 days.

Jeremy says that so far the Jeep 4×4 Travel bugs have traveled a combined total of over 881547 miles. That is going to the moon and back over 1 1/2 times. Pretty amazing!

Me either … yet they have been in 3 of my own caches … but never at a moment in time when I can get away to grab them (which I guess would not be nice anyway).

For those of you that have one … consider placing it in “Hard Rock Cache A TB Hotel” (GCK0MR) … it is fire proof (nothing worse than sparks from Jeep mufflers) and I’m only about 2 minutes away from it .

On our trip back from our honeymoon, we picked up a Jeep from North Carolina (I think it was NC) When you do so many caches and in so many states, it’s hard to remember where you were! I think we are bringing to the picnic. You’ll have to track down Ms. WISearcher if you want it.
