Personal theory on albino deer. Use to have a white cat who was born deaf. Found out that it is common for white cats to be deaf. I think some albino deer are deaf as one year the three that lived near me in Three Lakes all were hit by cars within a few weeks of each other. Or maybe they are just dumb.

Saw Mom and the babies again tonight. Apparently they like to go to this particular field. But it’s just as cool seeing them a second time.

I bought a book on white deer over the weekend. I am learning lots. I thought that white deer and albino deer were different, but no — they are all albinos (I’m the only one this is news to, I’m sure). But not all have red eyes — many have green eyes.

Also, hearing is not affected, but possibly vision is. It’s sort of hard to get them to take an eye test though…

And I still didn’t have my camera along!!!

Thanks for the laugh, my wife is form Muckwanago..and if you cant tell in the nearly 15 years we have been together I still have no clue on how to spell her hometown

Nothing like digging into the forums and bringing back an old topic. We saw an albino deer just west of Hwy 67 and I-94 about a week ago. Anyone else still seeing them around. Let’s get some more updates.
