Just got my weekly e-newsletter from WisTravel.com, which suggests 3-4 Wisconsin get-aways each week. This week they highlighted Boulder Junction, Jackson & Clark counties, and West Bend, stating
” West Bend – Your spring getaway is just minutes north of Milwaukee. Visit the critically-acclaimed Museum of Wisconsin Art and Old Courthouse Museum. Explore the trails of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Enjoy great geocaching – West Bend is a premier geocaching location, with more than 400 caches within a 7-mile radius.”
I’m happy to see Wisconsin recognizing geocaching as a potential tourism draw – and well before the Big Event, too.
😀 YAY! That is very cool! Thanks for mentioning it! 😀
Appleton has 800 caches within a 10 mile radius!
500 traditionals
200 puzzles
100 multis
That’s why BigStick came here for a two day marathon of 100 cache days.
yeah, but 200 puzzles – wow! 😛 😯 On my first two pages, I only have puzzles left to do up there. I REALLY have to learn to do them better. Too bad I missed your class Marc! Appleton rocks too on caches, great hides and a nice place to visit. 😀
