Wanted to buy:
Looking to buy some geocoins. Unactivated coins w/ unique icons in the $10 price range. Basically I just want to build myself a “starter set” of couple coins. Shoot me a pm with what you have.03/31/2010 at 3:27 am #1926270I know there a few people around who have some unactivated but google geocaching coins, many websites sell them, I’ve had good luck with geoswag.com, if its in stock I usually get a email the next day with the tracking number.
03/31/2010 at 3:44 am #1926271I’ve stumbled on a few of those sites online. So far I’ve only bought 2 coins on eBay.
I thought I’d ask here, perhaps someone wants to thin their collection.
support the local economy…
Maybe someone has a nice “personal” coin they’d sell me.I think a small collection of 6 or 7 nice coins should be good for me right now.
03/31/2010 at 4:18 am #1926272I sent you a PM.

03/31/2010 at 5:02 pm #1926273Be careful. Geocoin collecting is very addictive. Your six or seven will shortly be ten or twenty which in a few months will have grown to a hundred.
Remember you have been warned.
LOL

Boy aint that the truth hehehehe
I had only 5 coins to start that I bought off ebay & then at an event in Wausau I was looking at Sweetlife’s collection they had there & for sale. I think I ended up adopting (buying) 6 of theirs.
That is another option if you want to look into it……….the adoption of coin(s) from someone looking to “thin” out their collection.03/31/2010 at 6:10 pm #1926275The wife and I are also in the market of buying any coins in the 10 dollar range. Unactivated ones if possible, sorry heliddod for stealling your thread. we currently do not have any coins and are looking to start building a little set of our own. I am also maybe looking at pathtags too or pins. If anyone has anything they want to get rid of let me know too please.
again sorry helidood for stealing your thread.

All but a few are out and about traveling to me via cachers. Might want to try the GC.com geocoin forums.
04/01/2010 at 1:19 am #1926277Well we have over 300+ coins (more like over 500) all unactivated. I would be happy to sell some if not most for 5-10 dollars. We don’t really have an active list to show them off. We could meet somewhere to show you them and let either Helidood, Scrappy Scout or anyone else who is interested. Shoot us a PM or an email and we would be more that happy to meet you.

Possibly. Scout might be in a better position to make that happen considering he lives in Milwaukee. I’m a couple hours from you..
I dont have tickets yet, but I intend to go to Milwaukee at least a few times this summer to attend some Brewers games.. before I come down I’ll shoot you a pm first to make arrangements.
I’m not exactly sure what I’ll do with all these geocoins.. I wouldnt consider them investments..
..maybe my money might be better invested in baseball & football cards.. 8)

Yep, some of the coins that I have/had sold on ebay for over fifty dollars. But let us know when you are coming to Milwaukee and we can make it work.
