Unless there is a major issue I will not be passing anyone up. I began the game guessing at the answers (stupid). I have gotten 22 of the last 23 (or so) correct on the first guess though…so there’s still hope.

Don’t worry…I solved all 38 puzzles yesterday (in about 4 hours) but had trouble with a couple of them so am way back in the standings. 8) I am having a blast! This kind of thing is right up my alley….

I need to stay in the top 100 to stay in the running; I think I’m about 60th or so at this point.

I’m playing the GPS game too. I just realized today that I didn’t lose points for looking at clues to get the treasure codes, so I’m way behind in solving the treasures/mysteries. I couldn’t figure out at first where everyone was finding all those codes and racking up all those points. I have lots of catching up to do (not that I expect to be anywhere close to winning this thing!)

Just a note the live hunts begin on July 1st.

If you are going to participate in these hunts you MUST have an account with the site AND log the finds there.

If you do not log the finds it hurts the score of the person who hid the cache.

I started working on the puzzles at work a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the site is now blocked, so I guess I will have to work at work now. What a concept! I am going to work on more puzzles this weekend. The live hunts will be fun, can’t wait!!!

Well look for a few near Oconomowoc. I haven’t yet decided what shape these hides will take yet…puzzle, long walk, park and grab (NOT) or whatnot. I need to sit down and give it some thought.

Ever since the game deleted players names from the scoreboard who weren’t actively solving the online puzzles, it’s become impossible to tell how many players from Wisconsin are still involved. Right now there are 13 active puzzle solvers. With the upcoming live hunts being sent out, I was just wondering how many players are planning hides. I understand some players may just be playing the “live hunt” part of the game, and therefore no longer listed on the scoreboard.
So far Lostby and myself are each hiding 2, and cacheseekers is hiding 1. Anybody else…..?

I’m up to three and I hid the first one today.
I’m hiding a second one next week.
The third I may just use to refill….not sure yet.
GOJeepers is also hiding one in Central Wisconsin somewhere.

Lost is right….I will be placing one….somewhere. I haven’t received the box yet, so it may take me a while to get it up and running. Hope I can get it by this weekend so that I can hide it over the holiday.

Yeah, we recently just got ours. Kind of irritating how they want it hid by July 1st yet we get them so late in June 🙁 I’d like to have at least one weekend to hide it. Especially with the odd weather we’ve been having lately 😉 (We’ve been avoiding Geocaching during rain because of our adventure with Artopsy’s “The Artful Dodger” in the rain)

Anyways, it will get hidden asap. I’ve got a few ideas that I need to scout out yet.

It doesn’t need to be hidden by then. There will be new boxes hidden all summer (until at least September). So get to it if you have time but I wouldn’t sweat it.

Interesting, what I read was they wanted the box hidden by the 1st… I’ll have to re-read the documents that came with mine.

The hunts begin July 1st but you can hide new boxes all summer long. Which could be expensive if you are trying to stay in the top 100.
