We are heading to Wyalusing to do some camping soon. Does anyone have suggestions on nearby caches?

Sure do!! We often go to Wyalusing, camping. In fact, we are camp hosts in September and october. I will email you a list!

Not to blow my own horn, but I do have a cache in Wyalusing State Park… Wy Not Wyalusing? (GC18DC).

This multistage cache is currently unavailable because the first stage coordinates tag is no longer legible. Nick of Team Garmin planned to fix the tag (or tags, the other one may have suffered the same fate) this week, but I haven’t heard back from him. I also plan to put out more weatherproof tags in early June. If the cache isn’t available by the time you are camping, email me ([email protected]) and I’ll send you the coordinates of the stages and the final cache.

There was a neat cache at Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien, but it appears this cache is gone…

Highly reccommend Pikes Peak State Park in Iowa almost directly across from Wyalusing. The views are fantastic, trails are top notch and a new cache has been hidden there, GCG2EM , Pikes Peak Gold. We camp there almost every Thanksgiving.
