Kudos Jeff! Can you hear the cheer… “There ain’t no flies on WIZ BIT, There ain’t flies on WIZ BIT, there may be flies on other guys but there ain’t no flies on WIZ BIT” [it sounds better as a chant]. How ironic that the man who thought I was crazy for suggesting that he might be able to find 400 in one year has logged 400 in one year and 700 in less than 450 days.
It is also ironic that his septacenturian find was a multi, placed by a Parisian in Mexico after he, himself was denied the opportunity to place a virtual within a few miles. At least wzbt03 is from the same continent.
Great going Mr. wzbt03!

Not only have you found a few caches, you have given a great deal to our geocaching community- for that I commend and congratulate you!

03/22/2004 at 11:36 am #1736748Thanks everyone!
It is good that I can find some spanish interpreters to help me out reading some of the logs. Most of the local spanish folks tell me to stick to english as my spanish makes it harder for them to understand.
When I found number 700, one of the parts of the multi cache I did, Statues of Isla Mujeres, was a statue located at the entrance to the main school. Imagine a gringo approaching all the kids gathered around this statue waiting for school to start, holding a device all had never seen which directs you to places by sattelites. No need trying to explain geocaching this time. At first I thought they might be asking if I was a local, in retrospect I think the local might have been used in a totally different context. -
