The Blondie Bloodhound and I are planning to visit these two national parks this summer. (We have both been there before but not recently.)

We are looking at the all the virtuals and EarthCaches to do, etc.
We have stays set up at the numerous lodges in the parks.

We are interested in any current information if anyone has been out there……..for WiFi spots in the parks?

      Groceries/shopping/fuel in the parks?

Must see places. Places to eat Things to do.

We did this trip last August. There is groceries/shopping/gas at all the villages in Yellowstone (Canyon, Old Faithful, Norris, etc). I’m not sure about WI-FI. I’m guessing they have it had most of the lodges (we were camping), but we were too busy with all the other places to visit to worry about.

I did however buy the Garmin Colorado specifically for this trip (I had thought about upgrading to something different) and it was a perfect fit for this trip! I was able to load all the caches along our route and in the parks and had all the cache descriptions right in the GPS so I knew what to do on the Earth Caches and Virtuals when we came to one. It also tracked all the finds. The downside was logging all the finds once we returned to civilization.

Good luck with deciding what to see and do. No matter how long your trip is, it is not long enough! We have been there twice now in the last 7 years and we will probably go again in another five. It is just such a beautiful and awesome place to visit and site see!

Thanks for the info. What a great area to visit and experience.
And yes, so much to see and do!

We are going to fly into Jackson and then drive to the north entrance to Yellowstone and make a huge geo-loop and then down to the Tetons. We have a 17 day trip mapped out and the EarthCaches are bountiful in the parks.

        Thanks again,

        SGH & BB
