Today I was looking at my water cup on my desk. It’s one of those big plastic ones you can buy from Cousin’s subs. (approx 1.25L) I picked it up (with water in it) turned it upside-down to see if it would contain the water. It did.

I think I’m going to buy another one, hot-glue the pop-tops into place, and use it for my next cache container.

every time you are in Sam’s Club you just “have to buy” another pack of AA batteries because you just do not want to run out and because you have no idea if you really need them or not but know eventually you will!

You have meetings out of town for work and you plan on grabbing 1 or 2 caches nearest the location of the meeting, instead of going out to lunch with everyone, figuring you can grab fast food to eat on the way back!

I know my five year old is addicted when he comes home from the school field trip (to a farm) and mentions he followed the trail into the nearby woods to see if there were any good cache hiding places.

It’s good to corrupt them young.

Astro-D, I can top that one. My niece is on a personal mission to recruit all her classmates to geocaching. She knows that 2 classmates parents own GPS units already .. yeah, I can see another Basics class on my calendar soon

I’m not addicted to finding caches. But I seem to have developed an overly strong need to monitor the GC website or my email, for hits on the ones I’ve hidden In fact if someone hasn’t found one of mine in a week I look for an excuse to drive in that area to check on it I think (or hope) it’s a side effect of it seeming that there are not many finders in my area

I go from one addiction (racing triathlons) to geocaching. I just swapped one addiction for another.
