You go out and buy a laptop and get off the old dial up webtv so 1) you have more time for caching, 2) you can locate caches on the web faster, 3) you can log in your finds while traveling without searching the towns for available computers 4) Stay updated on new caches and archived and changed caches while traveling…without having to wait in public libraries, hospital lobbies, or hotel lobbies for our turn on the computer.

… You read a thread about knowing when you’re addicted, and you think to yourself “So what is wrong with these situations? Sounds normal for our home!” πŸ˜•

One might deny that geocaching is addictive. One makes a concience decison to cache. For the past 1522 days and 60,000 miles I have cached by choice. I can stop at any time. I don’d need to place or adopt more than 50 caches or send more than 40 travel bugs out into the world. 5 GPS receivers doesn’t mean I am addicted. 1880 posts on the forums doesn’t prove a compulsion. I’m not addicted, I can quit any time I want. In fact I quit 7 times last week alone. ~tb

….When you see that a green Jeep TB is nestled safely in the cache you placed it in before you go to bed, and it’s gone by sunrise the next morning. (a la RickBlick & Chick) πŸ˜†

My wife told me i was addicted when we were sitting at a friends house and i looked at a kids toy bubble blower (in the shape of an ice cream cone) and jumped up and said hey this would make a great micro cache. sad part was it was at a quiet moment when everyone was looking at the camp fire. scared everyone.

On the way to the hospital to get stiches in your hand, you stop off in the rain to search for two new Rogheff caches! 😯

Hey, I got FTF on one of them anyway! πŸ˜€

When you call your folks and tell them that you are going to be a little bit late for Thanksgiving Day lunch cause three new caches just popped up. Hey what can I say they weren’t that far out of the way.

When you go out caching on a Sunday afternoon instead of watching the Packers play…. even if they are doing well that year! πŸ˜†

Putting over 600 miles on the car in 2 days for 5 caches.

You know you’re addicted to Geocaching when you sleep overnight in your car in the middle of winter to just get a few more caches in for the weekend.

Hello my name is Rob, and I’m addicted to geocaching. πŸ˜†
