Minnesota, my home state. We have over 3000 finds there. Our two favorite areas to cache there are around Cannon Falls/Faribault/Northfield and the North Shore.
WE ahve over 4600 finds in Wisconsin, and 1950 in Michigan, after that we have 5 other states with over 100 finds.
I was surprised to see that Wyoming is still second on my list.
Illinois – grew up on State Line Rd and most my family is south of the border. Plus McHenry County does a coin challenge every year that I can’t pass up 😀
I would have guessed Minnesota, but that is actually number five. Michigan is second.
Illinois for us, only because I used to work in the Chicagoland area.
Our # 2 state is Alabama. We have developed the wonderful habit of spending a month or two of the loooong Wisconsin winter in Gulf Shores Alabama. There are some great caches in the area. We are not quite comfortable with the creepy crawlies that live in the state so are very careful where we stick our hands and feet.
Minnesota just edges out Iowa.
Minnesota would be our second with 1777 finds to date. Somehow caching out of state never gets old. Even guardrail finds are more interesting when the scenery is different than home.
Connecticut for us. We have family out east. Going back in October to get some more.
Michigan is a close 3rd.
Michigan is #2 for out-of-state caching finds, our son and daughter-in-law live in da U.P. and our daughter lived there for a year. We’ve cached the Marquette County area often. The Minneapolis metro area is home for our daughter now, so MN is our #3 state with about half as many finds as #2.

Kansas for me!
Michigan is number 2 right now. But I suspect come February, Florida will move to number 2.
Illinois here
South Dakota, because a good portion of my family lives there.
