I just learned about this little activity of making zentangles. It is a fun doodling activity. I thought someone here might find a creative way to incorporate them into caching. Maybe a requirement for cache stash or part of a puzzle. Here is a link to the ones I created and then you can go to the original creators site from there if you wish.

03/19/2009 at 1:17 pm #1904078I have been doing these for years…since I was little actually….but that doesn’t change the fact that mine still suck. I have no artistic talent whatsoever but am simply amazed at those who do. I can’t understand how people are able to create art; my mind is simply not wired that way….it is possible that a blow to my head in my youth may be blocking this ability….
03/19/2009 at 2:26 pm #1904079I remember these from way back in grade school. Only difference was that we colored them instead of make them. I remember how amazing the individual results were. Once they were colored, you would see different things that other students saw that you didn’t.
03/19/2009 at 3:16 pm #1904080I didn’t know that my “doodling” actually had a different name! Just goes to show you that you can learn something new every day.

03/20/2009 at 11:35 am #1904083I just went to the newsletters titled “how to” and figured it out… Did you show Cat? She may like something else to draw…
3 inch squares… add a “string” and fill in with the ideas from the “how to” or other ones in the gallery. I have been drawing for many years and not just doodles and I learned some great technigues at that site.
http://zentangle.com it may have a s in there.
