thanks all.
Milestones are cool in a way, and this whole section of the forums is about kudos and congrats and milestones and all that, but the more that I cache, the more I learn that it truly is not about the numbers. It is about the places we go, the adventures that we have, the things we learn, and the friends we make.
Milestones for the sake of milestones seems kind of pointless to me. Yet, to the extent that milestones are a reflection of some of the joys we have experienced geocaching, then it seems reasonable to take note of them and celebrate them, as long as we dont let the milestones themselves become the reason we cache.
If that makes sense, great. If it doesnt make sense, try the way Neil Young said it: “Numbers add up to nothing.”

Wow WTG I wish I knew that event was a milestone for you, I would have given a bottle of water to you also and not just the dog. 😆
Congrats
CONGRATS
Congratulations! It was great to meet you at the event, hopefully we’ll see you around your neck of the woods sometime.
I looked at 13K and even though I know what that means, I mentally changed it to 1300. That is why I am not good at puzzles.
13000! WOW!!
Thanks for being part of the geocaching world. My first experience in caching was at one of your caches. A DNF which was really a DNA at GC1FWV1.
