It’s 2am and Zuma just can’t stand the anticipation anymore and is off on his quest to get his 500th FTF today! 😯 I am at work and he told me he was leaving at “4 or so” but my teenage spy has reported his departure from the home base (She is just going to bed now after an exciting evening of getting pulled over near midnight in great excess of the speed limit and only receiving a seatbelt ticket for it.) He has been holding off on his visits to MN because he wants his 500th FTF to occur in WI – and the cache in question is totally befitting the occasion. Look for an update later today to see if he actually found his #500 FTF. Good Luck Zuma in your quest!!
11/19/2007 at 12:06 pm #1881289Good luck. I feel that Zuma will search for hours tell he finds it.
500 FTF I think I only have 2… no wait that might be 1. Too many for me to track.
Hope he enjoys the hunt.

We’re all waiting for the full story here!
11/20/2007 at 4:24 am #1881292Did Ja Find Er????
11/20/2007 at 4:28 am #1881293I think He is still looking. Or he is waiting for Dave to get there.
11/20/2007 at 11:57 am #1881294So yes, no, maybe? He get lost? 🙂
11/20/2007 at 5:46 pm #1881295Sorry for the delay in responding….I have been mostly away from the computer lately, either cleaning the garage, working, or caching. I will let you guess which one more.
Anyway, I did not get my 500th FTF yet. I wanted to do the long Bong multi that Rogheff put out for my 500th, but there were not 3 other unfound caches within a reasonable drive. So I am stuck at 497, and I chose to go get the Bong multi before some other fool drove way up there. (By the way, caching in Duluth is worth getting up at 2am.)
I will get there, just dont know when.

11/20/2007 at 8:17 pm #1881296Sorry you didn’t get to the magic number yet, but it sounds like you had a good weekend anyway. My dad grew up in Duluth and I spent a lot of time there with relatives growing up. It would be fun to go caching up there. Last few times we were that way I was either chasing Arctic owls or mushing dogs!
Now *there’s* an interesting concept for a 5 star cache–a dogsled cache? I’d love that (if I had my own team, that is, which we don’t).
11/23/2007 at 2:32 pm #1881297You didn’t get there yet? Time for another visit to the Fox Valley! I am certain you won’t have to travel that far though before that number falls. Good luck on the home stretch and have fun! Dave? He’s just watching the gap grow!
11/24/2007 at 10:16 pm #1881298Well, I stand corrected, Dave did do it, hit ftf’s on 1198, 1199 AND 1200!
