Just to confirm that I am running for another term on the WGA’s Board of Directors. By now, most of you know me, so I am not going to post a wordy introduction. I have met many of our members at events, and the ones that I have not met yet, I am sure we have met in the forums.
I have been caching since May 2004. I am from Eau Claire, but have cached in all parts of the state. I estimate that I have found about 1/3 of all the existing caches in the state, based on finding about 7200 caches in Wisconsin, and assuming that about 75% of the caches that I have found are still active.
I have been on the Board for 4 years, so this will be my third 2 year term, if elected. I am running again for 4 reasons. First of all, I enjoy the things that the WGA does to make caching better in Wisconsin and believe that there are things that we can do as a group that I could not do as an individual. Second, I like working with all of my friends on the Board of Directors, since we have had an outstanding group of people on the Board this past year and we have had a very productive and good year. Third, I feel that are several great things that we started this past year, that I want to continue working on and support in the coming year. And fourth, there are a couple of things that we did not get done this year, that I still want to work towards accomplishing.
